The great Destiny 2 changeover has begun: Bungie's big shooter doesn't go live on Steam until October 1, but you can get your account ready for the move as of right now.
Note:- Checkout this link https://www.gcardgenerator.com/steam-gift-card-code-generator.php and Get free Steam Wallet Codes.
The process is simple. Go to bungie.net and click "get started," then select the account you want to move over (apparently you can also transfer your PS4 or Xbox One accounts if you want) and link them as prompted. That'll take you to an account review screen to confirm that this is something you actually want to do; assuming it is, click "continue," agree to the terms, make really super-duper sure you want to do this (again), confirm with Steam that this is all above-board, and then finally, you are done.
There's no hurry to get the transfer done, but you will want to do it: After October 1, Destiny 2 will be gone from Battle.net, and so will your account.
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is coming soon you may have seen it mentioned around here once or twice and with it, the free-to-play New Light edition. There's been an awful lot of content released for Destiny 2 since it came out in 2017, in the form of campaign expansions and multiplayer modes and in-game events and stuff, and it's led to a little bit of confusion about what exactly is included with the free version of the game, and what you'll still need to pay for.
To clarify exactly what's what, Bungie has released a helpful infographic detailing all that New Light entails. It is, as they say, a lot.
In a follow-up tweet, Bungie clarified a few more points:-
- The Reckoning is included
- The Year 2 Exotics Thunderlord, Arbalest, Outbreak Perfected, and Bad Juju are available in New Light
- Rewards from the activities in the infographic are included with New Light except for associated Exotics
- Forsaken subclasses are not available in New Light.
If that's not enough bad-guys-from-space-shooting action for you, you can add Destiny 2: Forsaken to the mix for a reduced price too. The Forsaken Complete Collection, announced last week, includes the expansion and the Forsaken Annual Pass for $25. That's quite a deal compared to the original pricing of $40 for Forsaken and $35 for the pass.
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep and New Light come out on October 1, when the game moves from Battle.net to Steam. If you're already a Destiny 2 player, you'll want to ensure you've transferred your account prior to that date, or you'll lose it all.
Here's where to find Captive Cord in Destiny 2's Lunar Battlegrounds
Getting the Destiny 2 Captive Cord means you'll have to retrace your steps a bit. It's the Lunar Battlegrounds area in which you'll need to track down this hidden item and craft the Arc Logic auto rifle as part of the Essence of Failure quest.
Like the Destiny 2 Horned Wreath item that gives you a plush new sniper rifle, Captive Cord lets you craft exotic weapons by combining special items with Eris Morn's Lectern of Enchantment, and Nightmare Essence. If you're struggling to find Captive Cord in the Lunar Battlegrounds area, I'm here to help you do just that.
If, like me, you're not really the observant type, you may not have noticed that you've actually been to the Lunar Battlegrounds before: it's the spot in which you landed to start the Shadowkeep story. Y'know, the bit where you had to fight off waves of baddies before taking in the nightmarish splendor of the Hive-infested Scarlet Keep.
It's this spot to which you must return to get Captive Cord, but it isn't quite clear how to get back there. The best way to start doing that is by warping to the Sorrow's Harbor fast travel point to the northeast. Then head southeast within the Harbor area and you should see the red bridge (and its map location) pictured above.
From there it's a linear route all the way up to where you had to capture the six nodes in the first Shadowkeep level. In case your memory needs refreshing, bear right after crossing the bridge back to your very first landing spot on the Moon.
It's at this point the map marker for the Captive Cord should appear. It's on the building on your right on the second-highest platform. Then all that's left is for you to pick it up and start crafting your latest auto rifle. Enjoy!
